Moreshet – Mordechai Anielewicz Memorial Education & Research Center, The Polish Institute in Tel Aviv and The Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute are pleased to invite you to discussion with Dr. Katarzyna Person, the author of the book „Policjanci” (Policemen), about the Jewish Order Service (Jewish Police) in the Warsaw Ghetto during the Second World War.

The discussion will be moderated by Noam Leibman from Moreshet.

 

Dr. Person is a historian of the Holocaust and its aftermath, working with the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute (JHI) in Warsaw. She has written a number of articles and three books on the history of Jews in Poland during the Holocaust and in the immediate postwar period. An English translation of her book entitled „Warsaw Ghetto Police: The Jewish Order Service during the Nazi Occupation” will be published in early 2021 by Cornell University Press in association with United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
