Archives
The JHI Archives own Poland's largest collection of documents on the history of Polish Jews in the 20th century.

Art department
The JHI museum collection has existed for more than 70 years. It possesses about 15,000 objects: works of art, artistic craftsmanship, cult Judaica, everyday objects, historical memorabilia, photographs.

Heritage Documentation
The Heritage Documentation Department takes care of a collection of photographs presenting the life and heritage of Jews in Poland over a period of over 150 years (1860-2013). This collection includes over 100,000 archived photos.

Library
Our Library continues the traditions started before World War II by the Main Judaic Library, which is now the seat of the Jewish Historical Institute. Today, the Library has about 80,000 volumes devoted to the broadly understood Jewish subject, with particular emphasis on the history and culture of the Polish Jews.
