’The Great Synagogue Restores Memory’. Live broadcast at 8 PM

’The Great Synagogue, destroyed by Nazi Germany after the fall of the ghetto uprising, will be symbolically rebuilt for the third time. The image of the synagogue emerging from the rubble will appear on the wall of the Blue Tower, on the facade of the building, which took the place after the Great Synagogue after the war’.

On 19th April we commemorate the heroes of the 1943 Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. This year we cannot meet directly because of the coronavirus pandemic. We invite you to the live broadcast of the animation that is used for projection on Bankowy Square every year in Warsaw. Watch it today at 8 PM Warsaw time (2 PM NYC time) on Facebook and YouTube. Viewing will be available for 24 hours.
