We invite you to the Jewish Historical Institute at Tłomackie 3/5 Street in Warsaw for a charity fair for Ukrainians who left their country following the Russian invasion.

Starting from March 24, you can take part in a charity fair at the JHI in Warsaw.

We have prepared for you the books of our publishing house and unique gifts. In exchange for the chosen item or book, please put a donation in the box. The entire amount collected will be transferred to the Ukrainian House in Warsaw, which provides financial and financial assistance for Ukraine. The majority of books available are in Polish, but we also offer English language volumes of the Ringelblum Archive.

JHI opening hours:

  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 9 am-6 pm (last admission at 6 pm);
  • Tuesday 9 am-8 pm (last admission at 7 pm);
  • Friday 9 am-4 pm (last admission at 3 pm);
  • Sunday 10 am-6 pm (last admission at 5 pm).

 

The Ukrainian House in Warsaw is an NGO run by immigrants from Ukraine. In the light of the Russian invasion, the Ukrainian House has turned into a crisis response centre. Learn more and donate

Dance in the fire of war. Report from the opening of the exhibition “Dancers 1944. Mieczysław Wejman”
On May 26, we opened the temporary exhibition “Dancers 1944. Mieczysław Wejman”, presenting a unique series of graphics by the artist and witness of the Holocaust in the Warsaw Ghetto, created at the beginning of 1944, when Wejman was hiding from the Germans. March of Remembrance, 22 July 1942
Eighty years ago, the Jewish community of Warsaw almost completely ceased to exist. In the summer of 1942, the Germans deported nearly 300,000 Jews to the Treblinka death camp. We invite you to participate in the annual March of Remembrance, commemorating the murdered inhabitants of the Warsaw Ghetto.
