Research visits at the JHI from May 18, 2020

Rules for conducting research visits at the Jewish Historical Institute from May 18, 2020, in the conditions of partial opening of cultural institutions in Poland during the coronavirus pandemic.

Dear Guests,

 

 

we kindly inform you that from Monday, May 18 it will be possible to make research visits at the Jewish Historical Institute. Due to the current epidemiological situation in the country, the following rules apply during research visits:

 

• research visits take place from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 2 pm,

• the last visit of the day can start at 1 pm,

• visit requests should be submitted at least one week in advance,

• dates and times of visits depend on the availability of employees of specific Departments and whether the room for visits is free,

• a visit can last no longer than 120 minutes,

• visits can be made only individually in the presence of a JHI employee in a room specially designated for this type of operation,

• every person making a research visit at the JHI must wear a mask,

• disinfectant and gloves will be available on site.

In special cases, the Jewish Historical Institute reserves the right to refuse a research visit.

During a research visit at the Jewish Historical Institute, we ask for your patience due to the length of the disinfection procedure.
