Book launching at ZIH
July 8, 6 pm.
Polish edition of Menachem Begin's memoirs will be presented. The speakers will be Prof. Arye Naor of Ben Gurion University and Dr. Laurence Weinbaum of the World Jewish Congress.
Venue: Jewish Historical Institute (ZIH), exhibition hall in the Blue Tower at Bankowy Sq., Warsaw.
Teachers (secondary and high school) and educators are invited to enroll at the Summer School of Jewish History and Culture at ZIH. The lectures, workshops and tours will last June 25 through 29.

Prof. Dr. Szymon Rudnicki is this year's winner of the Jan Karski and Pola Nirenska Prize.
June 8th, 6 p.m. Dr Julian Bussgang, former soldier of WWII (the 2. Corps) will speak about his time in the Polish armed forces under General Anders and about POLISH JEW - POLISH SOLDIER brochure, published in 1945 by the Chief Rabbi at Anders's Army. ZIH is preparing a new bilingual edition of this brochure.
