The seminar will concern the methods of shaping the visual identity in film in the Third Reich and the cultural studies perspective in researching the history of Nazism as seen through the prism of the history of body and image. How can critical and psychoanalytical theory connect the research of the area of social imagination and political practice? Is the history of Nazism and the Third Reich — as one of the researchers suggests — a “film history”?
