It is not worth going to sleep during this unique night! On Saturday, 17th May, the Jewish Historical Institute will be open to the public.
Every hour, on the hour between 7pm and 11pm, guides from the Art Department will give tours of our exhibitions:
„Hidden in milk cans”: it is a unique opportunity to see the original documents from the Ringelblum Archive: letters, photos, manuscripts (including poems by W. Szlengel), portraits painted in the ghetto, and also milk cans in which the conspiratorial documentation of the Warsaw Ghetto was hidden.
„City and the Eyes”: an exhibition showing pre-war photographs by Menachem Kipnis.
