„Insomnia” or Jewish ways to and from communism

Meeting with a screening of the film and discussion.

Wide full hd

Andrzej Titkow’s latest documentary is about the life of Leonardo Borkiewicz, the first Polish governor of Szczecin, a Jew, communist, and later a dissident who was able to die peacefully only when he was sure that communism in Poland was falling apart.

The film will be a starting point for a discussion about the social determinants that pushed Jews towards communism and about the mechanisms for their rejection of the aforementioned system.
