Review of Yoram Gross’ films

Residents of the capital will have a unique opportunity to talk to Yoram Gross, and through his films explore the impact of the experience gained during the Holocaust on the artistic journey of this artis

Yoram Gross was born Jerzy Gross in Cracow to a Jewish family. During World War II he was in the Cracow ghetto, and later in Warsaw. In 1950, after the Security Service of the People’s Republic of Poland had conducted a search of his apartment, he decided to emigrate to Israel. In 1968, he moved with his family to Australia and settled in Sydney.

The most famous works of the director, producer and screenwriter all rolled into one are: feature film Dot and the Kangaroo and animated series Blinky Bill andTabaluga. At our festival we will present the following films:
