The lecture will be devoted to the relations between Stanislaw Jerzy Lec and the Jewish subject matter — a poet who wanted to write about something else. However, due to historical events he changes from the observer into the participant, the subject, and then into the object, so to speak, embodying „the Jewish subject”. Lec very quickly noticed that his name was also able to be read backwards. After the war, he undertakes the opposite way: again towards the objectivity and distance, which poetic aim is not only to describe but also to understand and express, in universal categories, personal-Jewish fate.
