The bookstore operating in the building of the Emanuel Ringelblum Jewish Historical Institute, offers the biggest in Poland (having about 3000 items) selection of books and magazines, both Polish and foreign, on the Jewish subject matter. Our offer is not limited only to publications. On sale, we also have films, maps, postcards, calendars and precious souvenirs.

Within the wide spectrum of publications, everyone will find something for themselves. Children will familiarise themselves with stories by Izaak Singer and the most famous works by Janusz Korczak, including King Matt. Older readers can choose from belles-lettres, biographies of famous Jews, historical books, guidebooks, journals and albums. For the academics we have a range of publications on history, philosophy, religion and Jewish customs.

One of the most important series of the Jewish Historical Institute publishing is, currently having ten volumes, the edition of The Ringelblum Archive. The Underground Archive of the Warsaw Ghetto. In 1999, the collection of documents that constitute the Ringelblum Archive were listed by UNESCO as the World Heritage: „Memory of the World”. The latest volume, published together with the publishing of Warsaw University depicts the fate of the Jews from Łódź in 1939–1942. All volumes along with the inventory are on sale. The series is planned to have thirty volumes.

Another significant publication is Jewish History Quarterly, issued cyclically by the Jewish Historical Institute. This magazine respected by Polish and foreign researches publishes articles related to the Jewish history, culture and literature. Its importance can be demonstrated by the fact that in 2011 the Quarterly was included in the so-called Master Journal List.
