Julia Keilowa, created sculptures in wood, marble and wrought iron; they were mainly heads and portraits. Keilowa collaborated with Warsaw plating companies, creating functional objects for Fraget, Norblin and Br. Henneberg.
The objects designed by her are characterized by brief, functional form, clarity, composition and appeal to basic geometric shapes. Her achievements in the field of metal-work place Keilowa among the greatest artists of Polish design.
