Actually all this scribbling does not make any sense. The fact is that we’re not going to survive the war. And the history will know about everything without my enlightened information. [...] With Dad, we already have bands with numbers. It’s hopeless and they’re saying that it’s going to be fine. I hope so! Is life, possible life after the war worth suffering and going through so much. I doubt that, but I don’t want to croak.
