Within the scope of the educational activities of the Jewish Historical Institute, we offer lectures for the University of the Third Age in Warsaw and Mazowsze, as well as in the entire Poland. In this academic year, even such remote U3A institutions as dynamically functioning University in Ustka or Ruda Śląska have used our offer.
However, the closest to us, not only in terms of territory, is, having cooperated with us for years, the Mazovia Region University of the Third Age by the Mazovia Region Centre of Culture and Arts used our offer to organize the whole seminar series entitled “Jewish Culture”.
In 2012/2013 academic year, the seminar was entitled, “Judaism does not have one name”. This year’s lectures were opened with a speech by our director Professor Paweł Śpiewak. Final Lecture, “ Diversity in Judaism” was given, as usual in a full house, at our seminar, Rabbi Shalom Dov Ber Stambler.
