In recent days, they have slightly changed the methods used in robbery of furniture from Jewish houses. The Nazis do not want to be engage in it themselves. They are forcing us to carry out their brutal orders ourselves [...] The occupation authorities are submitting to the Jewish Community lists detailing the requested amount of cabinets, tables, etc. equipment, stating that they must be of the highest quality. For fear of repressions of the occupant, the Jewish Community meticulously executes their orders.
